The InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Kit includes the two piece basin with lid, your choice of the Liberty 1/3 horse power sump pump or the Liberty 1/2 horse power sump pump, the standard check valve or the white quiet check valve and the 90 degree elbow, coupling and threaded end fittings. The InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Kit has everything you need to get started taking control of water issues in your crawl space, protecting your home and foundation from water damage, moisture damage and the potential for growth of mold and mildew.

Two Piece Crawl Space Sump Pump Basin

The InstaDry® Sump Pump Basin has been designed to fit any crawl space opening without having to cut or modify the sump pump basin to fit. The InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Basin offers a built in anti-float plate, 4 inch water slots and is 14 inches deep and 16 inches wide. The depth of the InstaDry® Sump Pump Basin allows for less digging, the perfect Sump Pump Basin for low working height, congested work areas or small crawl space access openings. Holding up to 12 gallons of water, the InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Basin is compact, unique and has many advantages compared to standard basins.

Included in Your Kit

The InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Kit includes three PVC fittings for you with additional options available to add on.

The first fitting is the 90 Degree Elbow ideal for making a 90 degree turn in a sump pump drain line. The second fitting is the Coupling ideal for connecting two straight pipes together making a continuous drain line from the Crawl Space Sump Pump. Lastly, the Threaded End fitting ideal for connecting the sump pump discharge.

Each of these fittings are 1 ½ schedule 40. Glue and Primer are required to use with each of these fittings.

The 237 sump pump is 1/3 horse power and is advised for the use of in crawl space environments with low height. The 237 sump pump comes with a 10 foot power cord and is offered with a 25 foot power cord. The 457 1/2 horse power pump is recommended for use in basements and for applications where water will need to be pumped higher than 10 feet.

A high quality check valve is important to your Sump Pump System. The number one reason a sump pump fails is due to a faulty or failed check valve.

The Standard Check Valve is made from the highest quality materials, ensuring a long service life.

The Quiet White Check Valve has a spring in the valve that softens the closing of the valve itself. This spring is added to give the check valve a quieter operation.

Crawl Space Sump Pump Basin Filter Sock

The InstaDry® Crawl Space Sump Pump Basin Filter Sock was designed to prevent dirt, silt, debris and drainage rock from entering the sump basin and potentially clogging your sump pump. The InstaDry® Basin Filter Sock is made in America, durable and will fit over any perforated sump pump basin up to 24 inches tall. By using the InstaDry® Basin Filter Sock you are ensuring a longer life for your sump pump system by preventing debris from building up, clogs in your sump pump and basin. Perfect for Crawl Space Encapsulations®, basement waterproofing and foundation waterproofing.

Note: It is not advised to use the filter sock with heavy clay soil as the heavy clay soil can clog the filter sock and prevent water from entering the sump pump basin. The filter sock should only be used in sandy soil. For crawl spaces with clay soil, it is recommended to use large stone size with a diameter of 5/16″ to ½” like river rock without the basin sock.
