Crawl Space Drain System — IDS®

Prevent water from building up and causing damage to the foundation of your home with the InstaDry® Crawl Space Drain System IDS®. Engineered specifically for use with the Crawl Space Sump Pump by channeling water directly to the sump pump basin. Designed for faster and easier installation over traditional drainage tile, the IDS® in most cases prevents the need for drainage rock around the drainage system. The use of water permeable fabric in the design of the IDS® allows the water in, while keeping mud, dirt and debris from entering the drain. This ensures your foundation is protected from standing water, excess water damage and moisture damage while protecting your Crawl Space Sump Pump System from clogging due to debris and dirt.

Protect Your Crawl Space and Foundation

The InstaDry® Crawl Space Drain System IDS® can be used in sandy soils without gravel or drainage rock. While the IDS® works best in sand and soil mixes, it can be used with drainage rock for heavy clay soils. The IDS® is 1 inch thick by 6 inches wide and is designed to be installed standing upright in a ditch that is 6 inches deep and can be back filled with coarse sand, clean gravel or drainage rock. The IDS® is not meant to be buried completely, but leave approximately 3/4″ to 1″ exposed to aid in water drainage on the surface. For excessive amounts of water the Crawl Space Drain System IDS® can be doubled or even tripled to increase the water flow to the Crawl Space Sump Pump System. The IDS® is designed to run to the filter stone around the sump pump basin and does not install directly to the basin.

The InstaDry® Crawl Space Drain System IDS® is offered in 50 foot and 150 foot long rolls.
